morning booost

once in a while, you meet these kind of people who regard you as some kind of special..

you see i sometimes pass by this neat little canteen to buy a cup of rice in the morning for my lunch at the office (i now have a lunchbox! hehe.. married life. changed life. somebody else is now concerned that i eat well.. sweet!). and for whatever reason, they look at me with an admiring expression, asking curious questions and seemed too happy to see me buy a six.00 rice from them! the way it happens, you’d think they’re in the presence of a goddess! hahaha!

it was like from the movie Ice Age 2 when Sid, the sloth whom eveybody finds weird suddenly wakes up surrounded by a herd of little creatures who takes him as a king. unbelievable! and cool!

it can be weird but who cares. they’re placing a smile on my morning and that gives me a good start to enjoy the day.

tomorrow, another cup of rice please! :)

brand new

A fresh start.  A new chapter.  Trusting the God who proved to be faithful and real. Holding on to His promises of love , peace, courage, splendor and joy! Cool!

- Isaiah 54 – 55 -

Today should be a regular monthsary. But in a few days, in 3 days to be exact, is our first monthsary as a married couple!  Lovely! Hehehe.. (I can be really corny.. hehehe)

dust off

“We” has now become a part of my everyday vocabulary.  It is but a natural that today started when “we” went esplanade jogging, then “we” had mcdo breakfast, and then “we” went home, “we” took a rest, “we had lunch, then “we” cleaned the whole room – sweeping the dust bunnies, sorting stuff, throwing the unnecessary, and rearrange things, and then “we” had dinner, until ”we” sleep goodnight together.

It may get tiring, after all these activities  i mean.  But spending my everyday with a man who never fails to tell me he loves me and whom i dearly love back, “we” has now become more sweeter to say than just “i”.

Finally! I thank God everything is now in order.

amazing grace

unbelievable!

this day, the whole universe truly conspired to lead both me and Ed to the altar and receive the blessing of having to say “i do” and cherish each other for forever! it was such an overflow of everything good that our hearts were drawning with so much gratitude to the Lord, our family, relatives, and friends. thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you….

delightful surprises

Flowers, “All My Life” rendition, medley of songs, big smiles, and new officemate/friends giving unexpected best wishes complete my wonderful anticipation to the big day! That 3 o’clock surprise will always be a delightful memory I won’t be forgetting.

To all the Lawson PSSC dudes and dudettes, my big warm thankful hug to y’all!

… now who wants a pizza?? :P

zoom!

seven months ago, tell me all of these is bound to happen and it would be like you telling me to pole vault to moon. events are happening too fast im trying hard not to blink but to savor every moment and let myself be amazed at how wonderful the Good Lord make things happen – super!

august

that month we just let pass. that time of the year we still have summer hangovers mixed with apprehensive excitement for the parties of the coming year end and new year. one moment it seemed like slow rainy days and then you suddenly realize the time ticked so fast.

you see, we’re having the big (or did i say biggest?) day this december. the day we marked to end the freelance season to discover greater joy in togetherness. the preps, the event, and the plans for the happily ever after is like a huge exciting bubble filled with the Lord’s blessings we just cant wait to burst! hehe..

so, you think i’d mull over the past happy summers and have second thoughts on the coming party days? definitely not.

i dont mind getting over august, december has so much promises im so looking forward to!

take me there

trees, breeze, and sunshine… ahhh… one of the best things in life are these morning jog at the park.  especially on such a good weather.  sometimes, you just want to stop the clock and dwell on these moments forever…

but ofcourse life doesnt happen that way.  you stop the perfect moment at some point and do the usual mundane everyday tasks.

good thing you can always close your eyes and remember… those trees, breeze, sunshine and then smile.
